Transportation

Parents are responsible for transportation.
Bus transportation to and from St. Michael Parish School is available to those living in the Deer Park, Lakota and Princeton school districts in 2024-2025. Contact the appropriate transportation department for more information about how to schedule bus service for your child if you live in one of these districts.

If you live in a neighboring district which does not currently provide bus service, per Ohio State Law, if they are within a 30-minute drive of St. Michael School they are legally obligated to do so. If you believe you qualify for transportation services and are seeking busing for your child(ren), you must file a formal request with your public school district's transportation department. Most school districts provide request forms on their websites for this purpose, or at least, anticipate your call.

In the case you qualify, yet your public school is still unable to provide transportation, the district must provide a payment in lieu of transportation. Please visit The Ohio Department of Education for the State's Rules and Regulations and current reimbursement rates regarding transportation.
