Last Day of School
On an eighth graders last day of school, students practice for graduation ceremonies, clean out their desk and lockers, watch a memory highlight video prepared by a parent volunteer, and celebrate! There will be an 8th grade class picnic at Gower Park and an 8th Grade Awards Ceremony at 1:45pm. Eighth grade students are dismissed shortly after 2:30 p.m. for a celebratory final walk-out. Parents are encouraged to make signs and cheer students on as they leave St. Michael School for the last time as a student. Please, NO confetti of any kind.

- No shorts or jeans are allowed.
- Girls should bring the shoes they are wearing to graduation for last day of school rehearsal.
- If shoes are brand new, please put a piece of masking tape on the sole so they do not slide on the tile flooring.

Student Arrival: 4:30 p.m.
From 4:30-5:25 p.m. last minute preparations are being made and parents have the ability to take individual photos with students, family, and friends in church. Lifetouch will be available on the Church steps for a group and individual student-only photo (weather permitting), please assemble on the parking lot in alphabetical order. If inclement weather, group photo will be taken in church, please assemble in the downstairs hallway in alphabetical order.

Mass: 6:00 p.m.
The celebration of Mass has been planned by the students. Following Mass, there will be a presentation of diplomas and awards. Our school communications director, or representative of, will photograph services.
