St. Albert Nutrition Service provides management of the Holley Homeplate Cafeteria.
Balanced nutrition throughout the day contributes to student success in and out of the classroom. The team at St. Albert Nutrition Service offers nutritious meals for over 4,000 students at Catholic grade schools in the Dayton and Cincinnati area. We are dedicated to keeping the cost of lunch affordable to our families. Our meals include an entrée, fruit, vegetables, and milk. In addition to the regular lunch menu, we offer a variety of a la carte items that can be made into a complete meal or priced separately.
Lunch ordering: Students are able to choose from three daily menu lunch options. Students place orders each morning at school. Students can build their own lunch from the a la carte choices or add something to a packed lunch. Lunch is then billed to your PaySchools account.
Food Allergies: St. Albert Nutrition Service does prepare peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on site. Sandwiches are prepared in a designated area of the kitchen, with designated utensils, bagged individually, and labeled accordingly. The preparation area is sanitized, and all utensils are sanitized alone, as to avoid cross contamination. Additionally, our managers communicate regularly with the school Nurse regarding any specific food allergies. Food allergies are noted in the point of sale system, alerting cashiers and managers as students come through the serving line.
A La Carte: St. Albert Nutrition Service offers a variety of additional items available for students to purchase. These items are “Smart Snack” compliant, and the nutritional values must adhere to national standards. All beverages follow the Smart Snack program and are100% fruit or vegetable juice diluted with water, with or without carbonation, and with no added sweeteners. Learn more about the Smart Snack Program. Proceeds from a la carte sales help to ensure we can continue to provide meals for Catholic Grade Schools in the Dayton, Cincinnati area regardless of enrollment size.
