Out-of-uniform days are special occasions when students are permitted to dress in clothing other than the standard school uniform. These days provide an opportunity for self-expression and school spirit, while still maintaining appropriate dress standards. For more details about appropriate dress standards, please see the 2025-2026 Student/Parent Handbook.
On designated Spirit Wear Days, students must wear St. Michael School or Boosters branded items to show their school pride. If branded St. Michael clothing is not available, a plain yellow or royal blue t-shirt is acceptable as spirit wear. Students may wear out of uniform bottoms that follow appropriate dress standards.
On designated Out of Uniform Days, students are provided a theme to follow for their dress to show excitement for the day ahead. For example, on a Christmas Out of Uniform day, students are able to wear Christmas themed tops, which includes plain red or green to fit the theme. Students may wear out of uniform bottoms that follow appropriate dress standards.
On designated Fundraiser Out of Uniform Days, students are provided a theme to follow for their dress and a minimum $1 online donation is requested to participate. These days are used as fundraisers for various service activities at St. Michael School. Students may wear out of uniform bottoms that follow appropriate dress standards.
For the final two weeks of the school year, the official St. Mike Fest t-shirt is a uniform approved top for students to wear. The purchase of these shirts directly impacts festival fundraising efforts and is done through stmikefest.com. Festival shirts are uniform approved Monday, May 11, 2026-Friday, May 22, 2026.
